Thomas Cook, born June 15th 1930, died June 7th 2006. He was 75 when he died. He lived in swalwell and had 8 children. He had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. All of his family loved and admired him.

He never had a bad word to say about anyone. He was one of those people whose glass was half full, not half empty. There was never a day without a smile or a friendly word. He was the sort of person who would get along with anyone, He was a caring and sensitive person. He was my best friend. I could tell my Grandad anything. good or bad, and he would always be there for me. I'm sure other people were touched by him the way I was.

On the 7th June 2006 the battle was ended, cancer, major killer and it stole away the one of the most important people in my life, and many other peoples aswell.

People say God only takes the best, well he certainly proved that. My Grandad was the best and there is not a day goes by where I don't miss him.

My Grandad was so brave, I hope one day I can be like him. He is my hero!

Everyone misses him soo much and i still cant believe that i will never see him again. Never walk through the door and see him siting in his chair reading the paper. Never walk in the house and see his muddy boots outside the door from the garden. Never go down to his garden and dig potatoes or collect eggs from the chickens. But he isn't suffering any more and the memories I have will always be with me.

Your still here with us Grandad and we will never forget you! Memories last a lifetime.

Love you forever R.I.P My Angel xxxxx
Miss you so much its unreal xxxxx

Poem for you

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die.

This poem was read at the funeral of Paul Hindmarch.
He was 14 when he died, and we all miss him.
This poem helped me and i hope it will help you cope with you loss too. Megan, on monday go to Mr Greener's lab and near his desk there is a plastic wallet on the wall beside the basketball. Read whats inside then ask Mr Greener if he knew who Paul's cousin is, then you will know who i am.

Kindest regards, Someone who cares.
